2025

Coinflow Labs

Senior Software Engineer

  • Productionized real-time anomaly detection models scoring millions of transactions/day with sub-second inference, identifying fraud patterns, synthetic identities, and coordinated abuse rings.
  • Built AI-driven entity verification and risk scoring pipelines: automated entity resolution, identity matching, and adaptive risk classification using supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Deployed NLP-based automated response generation system processing dispute events, leveraging structured data and document analysis to produce evidence packets at scale.
  • Established human-in-the-loop feedback systems for continuous model retraining, improving precision/recall and reducing false positives through active learning.
  • Built observability from scratch (Prometheus/Grafana SLOs, model drift monitoring, inference latency tracking) and scaled data infrastructure (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, event streams) to support ML at high throughput.
  • Impact: Scaled system from 300K to 20M+ events/month; core infra supported company growth from pre-seed to $26M Series A ($120M valuation).

2024

Crunchyroll (Sony Pictures)

Senior Software Engineer - Video Encoding Team

  • Architected and implemented high-performance backend tools for video playback, optimizing streaming quality and reliability.
  • Optimized video encoding and transcoding pipelines for multiple formats and resolutions.
  • Supported various Playback services using React, Typescript, Python, Golang and PHP.
